Vintage Vernon Kilns Early California Orange Gravy/Sauce Boat

Description

This large gravy/sauce boat measures 8 inches across the plate, 5 inches across the mouth of the bowl, and 3 1/2 inches tall. There are no cracks. There is a tiny white spot on the edge of the underplate (see photo). It is either a chip or a glaze defect. It feels smooth, so it is probably a defect that was glazed with the clear glaze.
Ships in new packing materials from a nonsmoking home. No bugs, no dirty newsprint, no stink.
