    Description

    This vintage original Betsy McCall paper doll page is entitled, "Betsy McCall and the Unicef Play."  It is exciting to be part of a Unicef play for the little brunette character created in the early 1950's for McCall's women's magazine.  Published in 1967, this 10" x 13" page is in excellent uncut condition with one rough edge where it was taken from the magazine and slight edge and corner wear.  None of the cut-out items are affected by the wear.  An illustrated story of their successful play is found on top and the 6" Betsy paper doll is on the bottom with two lovely costumes from the play.  Also included in this sale is a COPY of a vintage article on Betsy's rise to fame during the 1950's.  Great for framing, a collectors' treasure!
