Item Description
Vintage finely carved shell cameo in a solid 14k gold frame surrounded by seed pearls. Scene depicts the Abduction of Europa also referred to as the Rape of Europa wherein Zeus disguised as a bull abducts Europa, mother of the King of Minos and transports her across the sea on his back to the Island of Crete. Weighs 18.3 grams gross weight. Measures 2 ¼” height x 1 ⅞” width. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Juju’s Vintage Collection
