Vernonware 9" Turquoise Mixing Bowl, Nesting, "Early California"  1936 1947; California Pottery. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This large mixing bowl is in good condition. The turquoise color is deep and rich in tone. The item has been used. There are some chips on the bottom along the edge. The glaze in the bottom of the bowl is duller than the rest of the bowl and there are light scratches made when the bowl was used for mixing. Like other pottery of its time, Fiesta, Bauer and the like, Vernonware (Vernon Kilns California) is a desirable kitchen collectible.
