    Description

    Item Description:
Up for auction is this gorgeous Virginia and Truckee Railroad Route to the Comstock plate produced by Vernon Kilns.  Plate is in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.  This beautifully detailed and colorful plate features the Reno, the old No. 11 engine, that was used for passenger service between Reno, Carson City and Virginia City from 1872 until the late 1930's.  Measures 8 1/2" in diameter.   Please view our photos carefully as they are part of the description.  Any reflections, white spots or irregular looking shading patterns in the photos (amplified when using the enlarge feature) are due to glare from outdoor light.  Please view our other auctions for more hard to find Vernon Kilns pieces.
