Quality carving and mount in PRISTINE condition.  Vintage carved shell cameo brooch with swivel-up bale so also can be worn as a pendant.  Beautiful realistic detailed carving of HERA Queen of Heaven Wife of Zeus with symbolic diadem on top of head.  Pretty profile.  High relief carving...crisp.  Naturally domed shell with good color contrast and fine polished finish.  Quality...heavy..14K gold mount...cameo bezel set with wide border accented by tiny rope and larger outside rope. Measures 1 3/4"  x  1 3/8"...perfect size for wearing!  Looks as though never worn.  GREAT GIFT!
