very nice unrestored 100% original Massachusetts license plate. 1936 issue; number 192141. 14 x 6 inches; white legend on maroon background.  the plate lies completely straight and flat, with excellent original paint as seen.

new RMV regulations as of May, 2020 have restricted the quantity of eligible numbers for the YOM program.  instead of the numbers needing to be available in the YOM pool only, they must be overall out of use across all types.  this is because the Mass Pike toll readers were having trouble differentiating types - so all repeated numbers across types (say, regular #123 versus commercial #123 versus YOM #123) are being strenuously forced into retirement, and no new conflicts are being allowed.
