    Description

    I recently bought several older jewelry pieces from a small collection .. they all are being listed this evening, so please take a look at my others as any of them can be combined to save on shipping cost.
    This is a lovely Victorian cameo .. carved shell lovely woman  .... a very nice oval shaped frame with delicate patterned edge - I can see no marking, but it does test as sterling silver ...
    Old style open C clasp ..
    Size:   1 & 1/2" long ... 1 & 1/4" wide
    Weight:  6.0 g. but most of that would be the cameo itself - mentioned for accuracy sake ..
    Condition:   Very good antique condition ... no cracks to the cameo ... please note the reverse that the tiny pin that holds the hinged part of the cameo has been replaced with a tiny thin tack that has been bent to hold the hinge together ... it works perfectly well, but you may want to have it repaired ... mentioned for accuracy sake .. slight bend to the pin shank ..
