Exceptionally rare piece, depicts a Maenad, 10 diamond accents

Amazing and rare antique Victorian ring featuring a white coral cameo and 10 bright
rose cut diamond accents. White coral of this quality was rare, even by the late 1800s,
and the carving on this piece is quite remarkable, with terrific detail and great depth.
Features a Maenad, follower of Dionysus, god of wine, and a symbol of joy and
happiness. Three dimensional quality to the carving, with little to no age-related
softening to the face, draped gown and symbolic grapes and grape leaf accents.
Bezel set in gold mount (tested 14K) with 10 bright and sparking old rose cut diamonds.  A stunning heirloom quality piece.
